Stampede at 'Rockstar'


The promotional event of Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming film 'Rockstar' in Jaipur on Tuesday, took an ugly turn, when a stampede occurred during the occasion, injuring many. The incident occurred in a college premises where Ranbir had come to promote 'Rockstar'. The mob went out of control when Kapoor started throwing tee shirts among the audience, resulting into a stampede. Well, considering Ranbir's craze among the youth, the incident does not come as a surprise.

Baby Shower


Celebrities reached the residence of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan called 'Jalsa', in Mumbai to attend the baby shower ceremony of his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is due to deliver next month. Bachchans also made it a point to invite actor Shatrughan Sinha's wife Poonam Sinha ever since ties soured between the families after they were excluded from the guest list of Abhi-Ash's wedding. Bollywood actresses, Urmila Mantodkar, Raveena Tandon, Asha Parekh, Dimple Kapadia with daughter Twinkle Khanna and fashion designer Neeta Lulla were among other celebrities who attended the ceremony.

Steve Jobs biography

The release date for a Steve Jobs biography has been pushed up to Oct. 24, according to a spokesman for Simon & Schuster, the publishing house behind the long-awaited book.
This marks the second time that the publisher, owned by CBS Corp, has moved the publication date. It was slated to come out Nov. 21.
Walter Isaacson, the former managing editor of Time magazine and current chief executive of the Aspen Institute, is the author of "Steve Jobs," now the No. 1 bestseller on Amazon's customer purchase list.
Jobs, the charismatic co-founder and former chief executive of Apple Inc, died on Wednesday in Palo Alto, California at the age of 56. He is considered to be among the greatest American chief executives of his generation.
